This global pandemic has meant all non-essential employees have been locked in their homes, bored and scared for the past few months. While virtual happy hours and 5 p.m. cocktails have mostly gotten us through the misery, our dogs have been having the time of their lives. Not only are their humans home all day, they’re also more amped than ever for an evening walk. Why not take a walk on the wild side with some dog friendly spots along the Whiskey Rebellion Trail?

Even though many of the locations along our trail are open now, safety guidelines are still in place for public mingling. Outdoor patios and activities are the new normal, so is it safe to assume that we’ll see more dogs out and about with their owners? We hope so.

Dog Friendly Spots

Kingfly Spirits – Enjoy the patio or courtyard, both of which are stocked with fresh water for distillery dogs and pups. Quality time outside of the house awaits! Just make sure you bring your leash (and your mask).

Open Friday & Saturday noon – 11 p.m. and 2 – 9 p.m. on Sundays

Washington Crossing Park – Your pup can cruise around this awesome park on leash. He’s not welcome in any buildings, but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the sights and getting some fresh air.

The grounds are open from dawn to dusk.

Bluebird Distilling – Enjoy this awesome patio with your pup at your feet. The drink of choice this summer is a slushee. Yum!

Manatawny Still Works – Pottstown’s patio awaitings! At Manatawny Still Works they love four legged friends. Just make sure your dog is leashed and your face is masked.

Miscellaneous Distillery Book your tour and feel free to bring your fuzzy friend along, just keep a close eye on them in this manufacturing facility!

McClintock Distilling Co. – This distillery is super dog friendly. In fact, it has a 5/5 bones score on Fido! Just make a reservation before you come so they can manage the amount of people in the facility.

Old Line Spirits – Their new courtyard is open and dogs on leashes are warmly welcomed!

Open Saturday: 12:00 – 8:00 pm
